I found THEE CUTEST Halloween Pj’s from Target. Well to be fair my boyfriend surprised me with them. They’re SO SOFT, literally like butter & really fun for the holiday. If they’re not in stock check back because they’ve done a couple of restocks on them! Linked below.
I’m sure you guys have heard Nordstrom has had some HUGE markdowns, some even better than the NSALE. I’ve combed through and here are the shoe picks I’ve found. Tons of boots and booties perfect for Fall & Winter coming up.
Okay I know I’m not the only one who dies of excitement when you walk into target and see all the fall stuff they have out. It might be too warm to wear sweaters, but it’s not too soon to buy them. Budget finds usually sell out very quick so if you don’t buy them you might not see them again.
Color Block Cardigain – At first I wasn’t sold on this coloring, but I’m so glad I bought it because I haven’t stopped wearing it. This cardigan is made of the coziest fabric. I got it in a size small it fits TTS to a bit oversized in the sleeves but I like it that way! This sweater is only $27.99 & comes in a few other colors.
Lime Green Sweater – I was immediately drawn to this color and with my dark hair against this lime green I feel like Shego from Kim possible. This bright green is a huge trend for Fall! If this color isn’t your favorite they have plenty of others to choose from a hot pink, stripes & a cheetah print. $20 & I got it in a M to fit a bit oversized.
Cognac Long Sleeved Tee – I want this T-shirt in every single color they make because it is that good. It’s made of the softest material & it’s $10! I got it in this camel cognac color & black and white stripes that I love to wear underneath the color blocked cardigan (I can’t find stripes online, but maybe check in stores). I sized up to a M because I want them to fit a bit loose.
Color Blocked Sweater – I’m obsessed with everything about this sweater, the color combo + the same cozy material as the first 2 sweaters. The top hot coral color is really popular this fall & looks just like the Fall 2020 Pantone color “Samba”. The fit is oversized so you could definitely down size, but I still got a Small because I liked the fit. This find was $24.99!
Knit Sweater – this is such a staple piece that you can wear for many seasons. It’s a really simple knit sweater and perfect for fall & winter. It comes in so many colors! I got this yellow, but I’ve been debating going back for the Forrest green or periwinkle color. My sister also picked this one up in an oatmeal & a rust color. I sized up to a M in this one & it’s $20.
Turtle Neck Sweater – Oh my gosh, this material feels so luxe. I honestly don’t know how it’s only $29.99. I love the turtle neck & side slits. It’s the perfect sweater to pair with leggings because it gives you good bum coverage too! I picked this white color, but they also have a mauve, cognac & a few others. It fits really oversized so I sized down to a XS.
Charcoal Button Down – I am a sucker for a good chambray style shirt. I’ve never seen one in this dark color so I had to snag it. I love that you can dress it up or down. The perfect shirt for pumpkin patch visits. It does come in a few other colors & was $19.99. The website says that it’s Navy but to me it’s really dark & I think of it more as charcoal.
I also wanted to mention I’ve actually been using my Like to Know It account recently, you can follow me here. I post more frequently on there.
Hi guys! I KNOW you’ve seen it being put out in store, but it’s finally time to be thinking & planning for Christmas Decorations! I’ve rounded up my favorites which are broken down by price. We have $10 & under, $25 & under and $50 & under because we all have budgets during holiday season.
Today I’m sharing a TON of great finds from T.J.Maxx’s website that are neutral & would be great addition pieces to any room. I’m always looking for ways to spruce up my space & a couple new pillows or a new rug & a plant can completely change the feel of a room.
Hey girl hey! I am extra excited today to be sharing some summer hair accessories to make your life easier. I love these hair accessory trends because they’re cute + they make getting ready in the summer super quick. There are a million things to do this & throwing in a headband with yesterday’s curls = farmers market win. I went to Anthropology this past weekend and felt like I had entered hair heaven.
PONYTAIL SCARF // I never want this to go out of style. It’s such an easy way to spruce up hair you haven’t washed in a couple days. It comes in LOADS of different colors. A few of my picks : Cheetah, white floral, tropical & pink floral.
KNOTTED HEADBANDS // I think this is such a cute trend & I’ve seen so many girls wearing them. When I walked into anthropology and saw these prints I about died over how adorable they were but honestly I was a little worried they would look weird on me. I desperately wanted them to work because how easy to throw a headband into you hair on a summer day? It makes it actually look like you tried! After trying them on, I’M SOLD. They didn’t look strange at all. They looked just as cute on me as they did on all the Instagram girls. Here are a few of my favorite prints : white, palm print, blue & white stripe, pink twist, coral, raffia, peach gingham.
Hey girl, how are ya? Welcome back, I’m about to speak some knowledge to you & blow your mind. Today I’m sharing with you all the best vitamins for us specifically. Probably things that should have been included in our maturation program if we’re being real, but no worries. I’m here! I’ve done my research & I’m ready to share with all of you.
It’s no secret the female body is extremely complex. Our hormone cycles every 28 days & along with the magic abilities we have to give life we also have those days when we are just feeling out of whack & quite frankly crazy. I know we’ve all been there sitting in our cars watching a video about a dog or some random news story that makes us bawl & pretty soon we’re back to reality.
One of the biggest key vitamins that we are deficient in is Magnesium! Magnesium plays a HUGE part in helping to regulate your hormones. There are endless benefits but to name a few :
PMS, it can help to balance your mood by regulating progesterone on the central nervous system & decreases anxiety by regulating Cortisol.
Energy! When you are feeling sluggish & tired during that spectacular time of the month, magnesium will provide you with energy. It also allows you to sleep better.
Cramps. If you’re like me I’ve always struggled with painful period, magnesium will help relax your contracting muscles.
Sweet Cravings. Did you know that craving chocolate is often times your bodies way of telling you that you need magnesium? Dark chocolate is magnesium rich.
Within the average american diet females are only getting 50% of their daily amount. What can we do to increase this number?
1- Eat more magnesium rich foods. I’ve listed a few common ones below :
2- Take a magnesium supplement! Daily recommended amount on average is 320 mg.
Next major supplement is a B-Complex. B vitamins help your body convert food into energy. A b-complex consists of 8 different vitamins.
B-1 is Thiamin. It enables carbs to be used as energy. It plays a key role in nerve, muscle & heart function.
B-2 Riboflavin helps your body break down fat.
B-3 Niacin allows you to maintain healthy skin, nerves & digestion.
B-5 Pantothenic Acid is essential for the heath of the brain & nervous system.
B-6 Pyridoxine helps you to make more red blood cells & upkeep a strong immune system.
B-7 Biotin. I’m sure you’re familiar with this one. It helps you grow healthy hair, nails & skin.
B-9 Folic Acid is important for proper brain function & emotional and mental health.
B-12 Cobalamin is required for your nerve & blood cells. It also prevents anemia, supports your bones & improves your mood.
Vitamin D, this is the vitamin we get from the Sun! It helps us absorb calcium which helps us build & keep strong bones.
K1 & K2 play important roles in blood clotting, promoting good bone & heart health.
I hope this knowledge & testing out these vitamins help you feel like the best you possible. You are really the only one who knows what your body specifically needs & if something makes a difference and helps you.
